Remodelling of single-family home
Design, project, and project management

The home to remodel, which had been a childhood summer home and a family gathering site for years, would now become the owner and his family’s regular home. The project consisted in renovating the house and adapting to the current comfort needs while maintaining its essence.

The planned intervention redistributed the interior spaces, eliminating part of the walls in order to create an open-space concept in the living spaces. In addition to windows and flooring, all utilities were substituted and underfloor heating was installed.

In the exterior spaces the pavements were substituted and the gardens refurbished. A large garden pergola was installed in order to maintain a large space for family gatherings, all while maintaining the intimacy of the home’s interior.
